Terms & Conditions

Zoom Classes

Zoom classes can be booked via the booking site and payment made via Stripe using a credit or debit card or directly into all Generations Yoga & Pilates Business Account. Any cancellations should be made more than 8 hours in advance to receive a credit, or a request made to move to another classes time. Anyone cancelling less than 8 hours’ notice will not receive a credit.

You need an internet connection and a device in which you can clearly see and hear the instructor and the instructor can clearly see and hear you.

You will have the option to mute or omit your video, but you do so at your own risk.

 

Four Weekly & Eight Weekly Class Passes

Four Weekly and Eight weekly class pass expires after 90 days from first booking. They can be used to book any classes (excluding workshop days and retreats). You can reschedule a booking 8 hours before the start of the class via your confirmation email. No credits or refunds will be given with less than 8 hours’ notice. Refunds are only given in extreme circumstances agreed by the owner of the business and only if the required 8 hours’ notice is given.

Adult Class Bookings/Attendance

 

​You practice yoga/Pilates at your own risk. You should understand, confirm, and agree that you will not hold the teacher or students liable for any injuries or disturbances which you may experience during this yoga/Pilates session.  You agree to inform the teacher of any health problems using the medical declaration form on the following website: www.allgenerationsyoga.co.uk before beginning the Yoga/Pilates session and can confirm that where health problems exist you have had advice from your medical practitioner before taking part in the class. When participating in the yoga session you will take complete responsibility for weather you want to receive, accept, apply, or reject any advice or instruction offered by the teacher and you do so at your own risk. You must sign the Health Declaration (on the website www.allgenerationsyoga.co.uk to say that you have read and understood and agree with the above statement.  All information provided is kept in the strictest of confidence according to the Data Protections Act 1998   - A parent or guardians signature is required for their child to participate in a Yoga/Pilates Class if under the age of 18.  

if a class is delivered by All Generations Yoga & Pilates for any other organisation or third party you may be asked to book a place with them and you will need to understand the terms and condition of booking with that organisation.

You are advised to seek medical advice if you have any health concerns before you attend any classes. If you attend a class without prior advice from a medical practitioner, you do so at your own risk.

Anyone under the age of 18 should have their parents written consent to attend classes and make sure arrangements are made for them to get home safely.

If class numbers do not reach the minimum number required to make the class viable, we reserve the rights to cancel this class within 24 hours’ notice. A refund or credit will be offered if this is the case.

 

Private One to One Sessions

​If you book a private one to one session payment should be made at least one week prior to the booking No refunds are given for cancelled private classes. If you need to cancel an alternative date will be offered as long as more than 8 hours’ notice is given. Full payment is required if you give less than 8 hours’ notice of cancellation. In the event of a cancellation by All Generations Yoga & Pilates an alternative date will be offered, or a full refund given.

If classes are delivered within your home any pets should be removed from the area and a space cleared for health & safety reasons. If you choose to have your class at an alternative venue you are responsible for payment of that venue.

Bookings for Other Organisations

​Any organisation such as a school, nursery, care home, workplace or gym will be invoiced prior to the sessions being delivered and payment is expected within 2 weeks of receipt of invoice.  At least one weeks’ notice is required in the event of any cancellation, failure to do this will require full payment. 

In the event of any cancellation made by All Generations Yoga & Pilates an alternative date will be offered, or a substitute teacher maybe offered depending on availability or suitability for the class. 

 

Retreats

Payment:


Your place is not reserved until you have paid the appropriate deposit/fee.  All deposits paid to All Generations Yoga & Pilates are non-refundable.  If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date All Generations Yoga & Pilates reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain all monies so far received.
Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist between you and All Generations Yoga & Pilates until we receive full payment from you.
No transfers are permitted without prior written permission from All Generations Yoga & Pilates.
No refunds will be made for failure to complete the retreat.

Travel Insurance:


You are required to have your own travel insurance.  We require that your travel insurance covers the activity of this retreat as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses, and all the usual risks. You should bring the policy with you in the case of an emergency.

Travel Arrangements:


All travel arrangements to the venue are your responsibility and at your own cost.  All Generations Yoga & Pilates shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies you may have made arrangements with, or for any irregularities in your documentation required for travel. Transfers to/from the retreat are at your own cost and at your own risk.
For weeklong/weekend retreats, you are required to communicate your logistics as indicated on the booking form prior to the start of the retreat.

Walking & Open Water Swimming


Country Walking and Open Water Swimming are activities with a danger of personal injury or death; in submitting your booking form you acknowledge that you accept these risks and take responsibility for your actions and involvement.  Routes are subject to change in the event of severe weather events.  It is your responsibility to inform All Generations Yoga & Pilates of any illness/injury/mental health issue which might affect your ability to practice yoga/hike/open water swim with the group.

You must complete and sign the disclaimer and conditions issued to you prior to participating in a group walk or open water swim during the retreat, where you acknowledge you participate at your own risk. You must register to swim and sign out when you leave.

You must never enter the water alone; be a competent swimmer and you must have a toe float with a whistle and or a life jacket before you enter the water.

Health:


If you have a medical condition, serious or otherwise, you must inform All Generations Yoga & Pilates at time of booking.
If you have a food intolerance/allergy you must inform All Generations Yoga & Pilates at time of booking.  
Yoga and hill walking require a basic level of fitness and it is your responsibility to ensure that you are well enough and fit enough to join the retreat with its advertised yoga classes and other physical activities (e.g. walking, open water swimming).
Whilst all measures are taken to ensure a high standard of health and safety, some retreats are situated in the countryside where the land is uneven and we shall not be held responsible for any injuries caused by uneven terrain.

You must inform All Generations Yoga & Pilates if you are pregnant.
 

Amendments by All Generations Yoga & Pilates:


Rarely, changes may have to be made (e.g., yoga teacher, class times or other arrangements), which we reserve the right to make at any time.  If your accommodation must be changed for any reason, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar standard.  If a significant change becomes necessary, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel a retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid within 10 working days.

Liabilities:


We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, the threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of roads, airports or train cancellations, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.
We are not liable for any injuries you may incur. Yoga classes, open water swimming and hiking trips are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or after the retreat.
We are not liable for the loss or damage of your personal property.
We are not responsible for the proportion of male/female guests in any group. We are not responsible for the individual behaviour of any guest.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises at our discretion if your behaviour is disruptive or abusive.

Complaints:

Where we try to describe the retreats accurately, it is wise to research the venue and accommodation yourself to make sure you are satisfied with the location and standard of accommodation. We will not be held responsible for individual standards and preferences which differ from one person to the next. However, if you are not happy you must inform All Generations Yoga & Pilates immediately so that your complaint can be addressed and where we can we will endeavour to meet your request.

Public Liability & Checks

Michele Burton of All Generations Yoga & Pilates holds Public Liability Insurance and Malpractice of £6 million and a current Enhanced DBS check, safeguarding certificates and First Aid Certificate which will be renewed every 3 years and can be seen on request.

Privacy Policy

All Generations Yoga & Pilates will take all reasonable steps to protect any personal data.  Data is kept in compliance with data Protection Act and will not be shared with anyone else or any other company and is used only for the purpose of classes or teacher training. Disclaimers and training portfolios are kept for a period of 7 years in line with insurance regulation and then destroyed or deleted. The only instance information will be shared is through legal requirement from a ward of court or in the event of an emergency if your health and safety is at risk.

Information on registration forms is used for planning purposes, so that adaptations can be made to postures or to make sure that relevant equipment is available for you to get the best out of your class or training and emergency contact information is used only if an emergency occurs during a class or training. 

Paper copies of registration forms are kept in a locked draw in a locked room when not in use during classes. Any electronic copies sent via the website are held on Wix Hive API see www.wix.com/about/privacy. or BookWhen booking site. If you do not wish to complete an electronic version of your registration form a hard copy can be given to you in class. You do have the right to refuse to complete the registration form, but if you do attend a class, it is at your own risk.

If you attend a class which is delivered by me for another organisation, I will not pass on any personal information to that organisation and will not be responsible for any third-party data policy or procedures.

The data base is used to inform you of new classes, changes, or cancellations. A newsletter is sent out approximately every quarter with related information or videos regarding yoga, Pilates, meditation, or relaxation. You have the opportunity to unsubscribe at any point.

Social Media

Photographs are occasionally taken for publicity and marketing purposes and only used with permission form you or your parent if under 18 years. No personal information or tags are used when displaying photographs and any photograph will be removed immediately on request. In the event of a class cancellation by All Generations Yoga & Pilates a notice will be put on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.

Policies, Procedures, Codes of Practice & Disclaimer,

A copy of the policies, procedures, codes of practice or disclaimers can be given on request.   

Blogs & Videos including YouTube Channel

Any recording or written advice, postures or sequences on blogs and videos on this website and YouTube Channel are followed at your own risk. It is advised that if you have any concerns regarding your health or the heath of your child or baby or dependent adult you should consult a medical practitioner before taking any instruction from publications written or performed by All Generations Yoga & Pilates.

Intellectual property

Anything on this website and any course, retreats, workshops or class materials in hard copy or electronic such as teaching plans, manuals and training materials are protected by copyright laws and are not to be used by anyone without prior written consent of the owner of All Generations Yoga and Pilates - Michele Burton
